CULLERA
The town of Cullera is situated in the Júcar riverbank and next to the Mediterranean Sea at 38 kilometres from the city of Valencia. The lake and stuary of L’Estany is in the south of Cullera and it is well-known by its fishing. In the north of the town, there is a different landscape with hills and the reservoir of San Lorenzo in the Natural Park of the Albufera, an area of natural beauty and home of native wild life. The highest hill in Cullera is the Raposas Mountain (meaning the mountain of foxes) or also Muntanya de les Rabosses in Valencian, the regional language.
BEACHES
There are numerous beaches in Cullera: Mareny de Sant Llorenç, Dosel, Faro, Cap Blanc, Los Olivos, Racó, San Antonio, Escollera, Marenyet, Estany, Brosquil, Silencio and Dorado. These are certified beaches for its quality, cleanliness and services. They are adpated for the disabled featuring ramps, suitable showers and changing areas, etc. In Cullera you can find the San Antonio and the Racó beaches.
HERITAGE
The town of Cullera has 100 listed buildings due to their architectural value, some of them are the Education House and Town Hall, the Palomares House and the Town Market, all from the begining of the 20th century. There are also a number of little churches such as the Ermita dels Sants de la Pedra, home to the Rice Museum in the Albufera and the Ermita de la Font Santa.
CULLERA LIGHTHOUSE
The Cullera Lighthouse is one of the quietest and most summery areas of the city, surrounded by sea and mountains.
Its name derives from the construction of the lighthouse that has been warning sailors for years of the rocky outcropping of the mountain towards the coast.
Today the lighthouse is an emblem of this part of the list, operating night after night and fulfilling its mission.

RICE MUSEUM
A chapel situated on a hill where you can witness the mechanisms, tools, and implements once used for the harvesting and planting of our rice fields.
DRAGUT PIRATE CAVE MUSEUM
The Dragut Pirate Cave Museum is a unique historical and cultural site located in Cullera.
It commemorates the 1550 pirate assault on the town by the infamous Ottoman corsair Dragut. The museum is housed in a natural cave near Cullera’s lighthouse, offering visitors an immersive experience into 16th-century Mediterranean piracy.
