Cullera

The town of Cullera is situated in the Júcar riverbank and next to the Mediterranean Sea at 38 kilometres from the city of Valencia. The lake and stuary of L'Estany is in the south of Cullera and it is well-known by its fishing. In the north of the town, there is a different landscape with hills and the reservoir of San Lorenzo in the Natural Park of the Albufera, an area of natural beauty and home of native wild life. The highest hill in Cullera is the Raposas Mountain (meaning the mountain of foxes) or also Muntanya de les Rabosses in Valencian, the regional language.
